This was a fun, serendipitous meal, harmonious and colorful. Besides all that, it was good!
Here’s what we ate tonight:
Grilled swordfish (marinated in olive oil, lemon juice, Mexican oregano, garlic , a splash of Worcestershire & coarse ground black pepper) served with a lemon, butter & caper sauce
Vesuvius Tomatoes. I love the name — it’s basically slow-roasted plum tomatoes with onions, garlic and basil. Click here for the recipe.
Lightly sauteed sliced yellow squash and grilled asparagus.
Plain boiled new potatoes.
A glass of what was in the fridge house white.
Followed up with a chocolate covered ice cream bar. Yum.
