Buck and his old friend, Bill, like to say they knocked the sides out of the cradle together. They go way back. Bill has become my old friend now, as well, 25 years counting as “old friend” in anyone’s language.

Bill is our accountant, too, and a hungry widower. When Bill has papers for us to sign, he insists on personal delivery. And we insist he stay for supper.
